On the Sunday Nursing Home Ministry, Brian Smith writes …we were blessed with 30 residents at the service. Anna Bates played special music. Anna, Rachel, and Janice accompanied our hymns. Alice read her poem, " Purpose in Life." Tim Bates prayed and read scripture. Alan Steward and Phil and Pat McKishen assisted the residents. I spoke on "Great is Thy Faithfulness."

 We appreciated our few days of Bible Conference this past week and trust that the Lord will use this in the hearts and lives of people.   For those who made the effort to be here, we appreciate your faithfulness.   Our average attendance Mon-Wed was 127 and the offering was $1,734.  May the positive effects of these days of ministry continue

      Dale Oxley, faithful servant of Christ, was called home to glory on September 30; he was 85.  Dale and Betty went to Japan in 1952 and served as church planters for half a century.  They were supported by our church since the late 1950’s.  Liz and I attended the memorial service this past week in Hermitage, TN.  I

     Last Sunday afternoon there were 35 residents in attendance at the Nursing Home Ministry.  Rachel and Janice Bates played accompaniment for hymns and did special music. We retired one of our church vans this past week and changed the “use” of another one.   High mileage and pending repairs made this necessary; they have served us well.  We continue to rent buses for school trips and sporting events, and we use the vans to supplement from time to time.We appreciate those who play in the HBC orchestra

 We rejoice in a good full week of school at Gloucester County Christian School.   We did receive our temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the new building and are using the classrooms and offices.  There were numerous inspections!
