Perseverance of the Saints
There is a desperate need in the church to revive and restate the doctrine of the perseverance
of the saints. We live in a day when “everybody is a Christian.” This series of message will stir your mind and heart in three specific areas: [1] there will always be disingenuous conversions; professing ones will be among the genuine, [2] It is possible to be saved, baptized, and in company with believers; and still not be genuinely saved, and [3] The doctrine of eternal security has lulled many professing Christians into a state of living as they please, because after all “I am still going to heaven.” We need a clear understanding of the truth that genuine believers will persevere in their faith, there will be fruit if someone is truly born again.
