As we look ahead to the Lord’s Day, our Choir will sing, I will speak on “Even in our Sin, God Displays His Grace” in the AM and at our 6 PM service we will continue in our series in the book of Hebrews with the message “The Challenge and Demands of NT Living.”
I’ve been thinking …
The sins and failures of Peter and David, NT and OT respectively, send a number of messages to us as believers. One of those messages is that there is life beyond failure. As an example of God’s infinite wisdom, he often displays His grace in the life of the believer after sin, repentance, and restoration. In the human experience, we often stay angry, demonstrate resentment, and seek to retaliate against one who has erred against us. Not so with our God. May we learn to be more like Him as we consider a matter in David’s life this Sunday. Stay tuned, see you on Sunday.
Have a great weekend, Pastor
