Annual Missions Conference 2011

Join us for a special emphasis on missions entitled “Redeeming the Time: Missions in the 21st Century” being held on March 20-22, 2011. Dr. Jim Bennett (Frontline Missions International) will be here for special meetings on Sunday and Monday, and we will have a dinner and panel on Tuesday with Pastor Ken Smith (Cherry Flats Baptist Church), Pastor Joe Roof (Calvary Baptist Church), and Pastor Stephen Racite (Cornwall Baptist Church).


Special Meetings – Dr. Jim Bennett

Sunday School (9:45 am)

Morning Worship (11 am)

Evening Service (6 pm)

Monday Evening (7 pm)

With messages particularly focused on the persecuted church and unreached people groups. Nursery will be provided for children up to age 4.


Dinner and Panel – “Missions in the Local Church”

Tuesday Evening – Dinner (6 pm) and Panel (7 pm)

With a time of fellowship, including soup and sandwiches followed by discussion with pastors of local churches who will share how they implement and maintain a missions emphasis in their ministries. They will also discuss current missionary concerns.


Jim has spent the last 19 years pursuing the unprecedented Gospel opportunities that exist in our world today. He currently serves as the Director of Strategic Development  for Frontline Missions International. His passion for cross-cultural   ministry has taken him to six continents and many countries to teach in universities, escort groups on study tours, develop and supervise ESL programs, conduct ministry research among unreached people groups, and establish cultural immersion programs. He and his wife Tami have four children and live in South Carolina.


About Pastor Bruce Dare
Pastor Bruce Dare served as an Assistant to the Pastor from 2007 to 2015, filling a primary administration role along with various teaching and discipleship responsibilities. The Lord greatly used Pastor Bruce to ensure stability and sound administration during the year following the home-going of Pastor Franklin, for which the HBC family is very grateful.
