It was still dark, the sun was just starting to rise, faithful women disciples were stirring and anxious. They did not sleep much that night and were up before the dawn. Off to the tomb where the sacred body of our Lord lay. The earth shook, the stone was rolled away, and the angels observed with a celestial curiosity. The Spirit of Christ was re-united with that marred body as it lay in the tomb – Glorious resurrection morn! We are delighted that you are with us this Sunday to celebrate the bodily resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. We echo the words of the angel, “He is not here, He is risen, as He said”
It is that time of the year for church softball. Men, there is a sign up sheet on the main bulletin board, and we are scheduling games for May and June. If you know of a business that would like to play – see Pastor Bruce for scheduling.
Thinking of baseball – be sure to set aside Friday night, May 20th, as we will premiere the new film Milltown Pride from Unusual Films [BJU]. Two churches in NJ are premiering this film before it is released to the general public. Admission is free, and the Friday night film will be at 7 PM. Invite a friend.
