A Few Notes:
• Tonight is the closing program for our King’s Kids
• Our Church Work Day will be tomorrow; we need you! This is for the whole family, children and young people included! We will start at 8 AM, there will be a Pancake, Egg, Sausage brunch at 10 for all. Plan to be here for the fellowship. This is rain or shine. We have received certain intelligence that the rain will hold off until after our work day…. Remember: Many hands make light work.
• There will be a baptism class Sunday night at 5:15. If you desire to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism, plan to be in the class.
As we look ahead to the Lord’s Day our Choir will sing and I will speak on Signs of Life [#4] from 1 John 5 in the morning service. On Sunday night at 6, we will have a missionary speaker, Terry Ritschard, GFA Missions, PNG.
I’ve been thinking …
Sunday is Palm Sunday, the commencement of our Lord’s passion week that culminates in the victory over the grave. Palms were a national symbol of victory and were waved by many Pilgrims as our Lord made his journey up to Jerusalem. We will continue in our AM Series on Signs of Life with a message on Victory as a sign of life. One who is genuinely a believer will experience the joy and thrill of victory over the world, and one who lives in a cycle of defeat should seriously consider the genuineness of their relationship to Christ.
Have a great weekend,
