The HBC Back Page is a weekly column appearing on the back of the church bulletin each Sunday, often including church news, anecdotes, book reviews, or comments from Pastor.

Back Page: August 28, 2011

We rejoice in the privilege to conduct services each month in three different facilities [Washington Twp, Elmer, and Clayton].  Brian and Alice Smith lead the two services each month in Washington Township. Wayne Wright leads the Bible study at Clayton Mews.  Chuck Connor, Dick Mires and Dale Williams care for two services at Mater Dei in Elmer.  We appreciate those who attend and help with music.  If you would like to share a testimony, special music, or a challenge at any of these ministries – you would be welcome.

Don’t expect God’s approval of plans on which He has not been consulted.

The HBC Ministry Statement:

Hardingville Bible Church exists for the glory of God.  We will strive to honor the Name of Christ, strengthen believers in the faith, share the Gospel with the lost, and stand for truth no matter the cost.

Things have been very busy at our Christian School.  We rejoice in an enrollment of 346 as we look ahead to the fall.  While our elementary enrollment is down, the jr. high and high school is filled to capacity and then some!  We rejoice that all of our faculty positions have been met and that the building is getting closer to being usable; time is short.  A special thank you to a great group that helped us move items last Monday.

Next Sunday will be Promotion Day in Sunday School.   Boys and girls will be promoted to the next grade;  all will meet in the main auditorium.  All Adult Classes will meet with Pastor on 9/4 and new Adult Classes will begin the following week, 9/11.           – Pastor
