A Few Notes:
- Thanks to those who responded to the plea for painters – we had a great day and got it done!
- Pray for families that are away on vacation and for some our young people preparing to return to college soon.
- Little Jake Talbot’s surgery has been delayed
As we look ahead to the Lord’s Day, I will speak on “Desiring God to Stir” in the AM. At our evening service we will have a few summer ministry reports again from some who worked in camp, the Conrads will be with us as they leave for Hong Kong, and we will have a few specials on the organ by Jeremy.
I’ve been thinking …
With the many highway miles I have covered over the past few weeks, I have seen my share of construction. A lot of the time, after miles of signage, no one was at work. It stirred me to think about putting a sign up that read, “Caution: God is at Work.” Slow down, pay attention, be cautious, and watch God at work. Acts 18:1-11 is a thrilling passage that details how the Lord worked in a mighty way at Corinth. I trust that God is at work in your life, your family, our church, and in our country. Have a great weekend. I hope to see you on Sunday.
