The HBC Back Page is a weekly column appearing on the back of the church bulletin each Sunday, often including church news, anecdotes, book reviews, or comments from Pastor.

We rejoice in a good full week of school at Gloucester County Christian School.   We did receive our temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the new building and are using the classrooms and offices.  There were numerous inspections! There are many details and finish items that we are tending to these days.  We will turn our attention to the Assembly Room and gym in the coming weeks.  We are grateful for a dedicated staff and an enrollment of 353 students.

Thanks to all who have helped in recent weeks at the school.  The volunteer man/woman hours are kept in heaven and great will be your reward.  We further appreciate the yellow envelopes of special gifts that come through for the new building.

Fall Adult Sunday School Electives

1 – Disciplines of a Godly Man, a practical study for men, [a Men’s Class], taught by Pastor and meeting in the

Assembly Room.

2 – The Feasts of Jehovah, a study of God’s Prophetic Calendar from Leviticus 23, team taught by Pastor Smith

and Dick Grover, meeting in E-1.

3 – Christ on Our One Mind, a study of the Book of Philippians, taught by Pastor Bruce and meeting in the

main auditorium.

4 – Foundations for the Faith, taught by Glenn Carlough and meeting in A-6.

There is a new flag on the church flag pole today.  This flag was a gift to pastor and was flown over the US Capitol on September 19, 2010.  Tomorrow is a special day…  and the same flag will fly here at HBC.
