Annual Christmas Events 2011

Annual Christmas Events 2011

During this special time of year, all believers should echo along with the heavenly host, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”  (Luke 2:14) Every year, we can always find a new opportunity to appreciate all that Christ has done, specifically when He humbled himself as a man. Here at HBC, we have a number of annual Christmas events scheduled for the holiday season. You will find different activities for the whole family that they can enjoy.

On Saturday, December 10 at 10 am, we invite all ladies to our Ladies’ Christmas Brunch. Come enjoy a nice brunch, good fellowship, some music, and a special challenge from God’s Word. Our speaker this year will be Natalie Scheiber. Please sign up if you are coming! Visitors are welcome.

We would also love to see the whole family join our annual Christmas Dinner on Saturday, December 17 at 6 pm. We always enjoy a time of food and fellowship around the table. Our missionary to Zambia, Bill Knipe, will be our special guest speaker for the evening. Come be blessed along with the rest of your church family!

“Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” (Matthew 2:2) The choirs of  Hardingville Bible Church will be presenting “The Newborn King,” featuring music from SoundForth including the Church & Children’s Choir along with narrators on Sunday, December 18, at 6 pm.  Admission is free. Come and invite a friend!

On Saturday, December 24 at 7 pm, we will be holding our Christmas Eve Service. We will sing carols, enjoy special music, read the Christmas story, and hear a challenge on the special message of Christmas. Bring yourself and your family to this special time of centering our thoughts upon the true joy beyond these busy holiday gatherings.

About Pastor Bruce Dare
Pastor Bruce Dare served as an Assistant to the Pastor from 2007 to 2015, filling a primary administration role along with various teaching and discipleship responsibilities. The Lord greatly used Pastor Bruce to ensure stability and sound administration during the year following the home-going of Pastor Franklin, for which the HBC family is very grateful.
