I’ve been thinking …
Liz and I spent some quality time in the car for hours and hours coming back from Florida. I did a lot of listening and some talking. Time alone with one’s spouse is very important, regardless of where it is. I wonder as we consider listening to God; do we get distracted, side tracked, or even zone out. How can we sharpen our listening skills? When we sit with an open Bible, are we giving God our undivided attention? Are we disciplined enough to go back and “read that passage again” because we were not paying attention. May I challenge you to take inventory of your listening skills, especially as it relates to our God – He has much to say.
