Liz and I deeply appreciated the honor bestowed on us this past week here at HBC. The words spoken, the guest speakers, the music, the book of remembrance, the ice cream and the monetary gift were all appreciated. It is a special honor for us to serve. Thank you.
This past week, the Church received a final draft from a legacy from a former member here at HBC. These sizeable gifts have been appreciated. Remembering the Lord’s work in your will is a final act of stewardship. We appreciate those who have honored the Lord in this way. Such gifts are always a help in the overall finances of a ministry.

We appreciate those who play in the HBC orchestra each Sunday. Please be ready to go at 5:45 each week. It is important that we tune and play through a few songs before the start of the evening service at 6. If you have an instrument and want to join with us, see Mary Smith.
Saturday, October 13th Fall Family Festival Be sure not to miss this exciting day here at HBC, sponsored by our Sunday School – this is for the whole family, starting at 1:00. There will be dinner on the church grounds and lots of activities (hay rides, Elephant Moon Bounce, kite contest, games for all, and a giant barbeque from a mobile charcoal spit grill with Jonathan Lumpkin as grill master.) We plan to eat at 4 PM. – Pastor
