On October 14-17, Hardingville Bible Church will host its annual Fall Bible Conference with special speakers Dr. Jack Klem (Clearwater Christian College) and Dr. Doug Finkbeiner (Calvary Baptist Seminary) along with a gifted musician Dr. David Parker (Bob Jones University) as our guests. Our church family would like to extend a personal invitation to you. “If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them” (John 13:17). Please join us for this special emphasis!
We trust that the Lord will use the men of God who will be preaching to stir our hearts and encourage us to stand for the truth in these dark days. A nursery will be available for each service, and all sessions will be recorded. Please contact us for directions or to send any requests, questions, or comments by sending a note to email@example.com.
Dr. Klem will be with us for services on Sunday (11 am & 6 pm) and Monday (7 pm), and Dr. Finkbeiner will be with us on Tuesday (7 pm). Dr. Parker will sing special music for each service along with a Sacred Music Concert on Wednesday (7 pm).
Jack Klem became the fifth president of Clearwater Christian College in May of 2012. After receiving his B.S. from Lancaster Bible College, he went on to earn his M.Div. and Th.M. from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks-Summit and a Th.D. from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He then entered the world of academic administration at CBTS, filling various roles there. Dr. Klem has served in pastoral ministry, educational ministries, and administrative positions across the country. Through his ministries in the local church, he has fostered an overwhelming passion to use the tools of a Christo-centric liberal arts education to prepare men and women to become vibrant servants of the Lord in whatever vocational or ministerial pursuit they have chosen for their lives. Jack and his wife Cathy have been married for 34 years and have 2 adult children.
Doug Finkbeiner and his wife Sheri have been married for 27 years and have 6 children. Doug has 13 years of pastoral experience and speaks often at churches and conferences. In 1997, Doug became a full-time professor at Calvary Baptist Seminary. He teaches in the areas of New Testament and Practical Theology and enjoys teaching graduate students how to interpret and communicate the Bible. He has completed four graduate degrees: a M.Div. and a Th.M. from CBS, a D.Min. from Denver Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
David Parker is on the music faculty of Bob Jones University where he teaches private voice, diction for singers, vocal pedagogy and music technology. He earned a bachelor’s and masters’ degree in voice from BJU and a doctorate in vocal performance from the University of Michigan. An experienced oratorio and opera soloist, he continues to sing regularly with regional orchestras. David is also the music pastor of Westgate Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. He enjoys computer programming and the outdoors – especially riding his motorcycle with his soul-mate through the Carolina mountains.
