Young Adult Frisbee

Join us tomorrow at 2 PM for an afternoon of exercise. The November Young Adult Fellowship will be held at Drew & Melissa Franklin’s where we’ll give our best shot at a game of Ultimate Frisbee! Invite some friends and join us – even if you are not inclined to play, there will be coffee and hot chocolate indoors. We will provide pizza for all around 4 PM. Please bring a drink or side to share!

Falling back

Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour this weekend! For those that are particular with such things, Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 3. For those that tend to procrastinate with such things, you will have to wait at church for the rest of us. Either way, use the extra hour wisely – in other words, sleep more!

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Bruce will share a message entitled “Shall Not the Judge of All the Earth Do Right?” during our Morning Worship and another called “For Thou Wast Slain” for the Evening Service.

Voting Tuesday

A recent town hall meeting regarding a liquor license in Elk Township reminds us of the need for action as Christian citizens. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. The least you can do is get to your local polling place and vote for what’s right. The best thing you can do is reach out to your neighbors, regardless of the sign in their yard.
