Upcoming events

All ladies are invited to attend the Winter Wonderland Brunch tomorrow at 10 am. Come join us, even if you didn’t sign up, and feel free to bring something to share. We received word that camp was full this weekend at Tri-State.  We will have a group going to the junior Winter Weekend next week. See Pastor Blaze for details!

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Bruce will share a message entitled “Who Hath Made Man’s Mouth?” during our Morning Worship, and Pastor Smith will share “Condition of Corinthian Church” at the Evening Service.

Wild Game Supper

Come partake of our annual assortment of mystery meats and curious cuisine for the whole family! Our Wild Game Supper will be next Saturday, January 23 at 6 pm. We will have a firearms display (your favorite, unique, antique) along with various trophy mounts – see Greg Maynard to particpate. Other details will be in the bulletin on Sunday.

2014 Men’s Canada Fishing Trip

The date is set for this year’s Men’s Canada Fishing Trip to Tedford’s Lakeside Lodge in Gananoque, Ontario. On August 28-30, a group of men will travel up for a great time of fishing and fellowship. Sign up and send your deposit to Sharon in the church office. You can see a report with pictures from last year here.

Upon recommendation

Answers in Genesis is sponsoring a debate at the Creation Museum between Bill Nye (The Science Guy) and Ken Ham (AIG CEO) on February 4, beginning at 7 pm. They will seek to answer the question, “Is creation a viable model of origins?” This will now be live streamed free of charge. See the trailer and sign up at

Sent to 202 addresses of the HBC family.
