Weekend events

The King’s Kids will have a special Valentine’s Night tonight, and the Men’s Breakfast is still on for tomorrow. Also, the Sr. High Teens will have an Afterglow at the Pagliarini’s after the Evening Service.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Dr. Vince Kobosh will be our guest speaker for the day. Both the adult choir and the King’s Kids will share special music during our Morning Worship. The Book Table will be open at the Evening Service.

B. Robert Biscoe: 1925-2014

Many at HBC knew Dr. Bob Biscoe and may have heard that he passed away on Wednesday. He was highly involved with the FFBC but was also once the pastor at our church for a time in 1952. At age 28, he initiated a “drive-in church” effort at what was then Siloam Bible Protestant Church in Hardingville “to reach the traffic flying by.” The funeral service will be on Monday, February 17, at 11 am at Trinity Bible Church, and a memorial service will be on Saturday, February 22, at 11 am at New Freedom Bible Church.

YAF Bowling

The February Young Adult Fellowship will be a bowling event next Saturday the 22nd, beginning at 6 pm. This will be at the Brunswick Zone in Turnersville, and the cost is $14 per person for 2 hours, including shoes. Contact Drew Franklin with any questions and join the event on Facebook if you can come along.

Missions in March

Our annual missions conference will span over March 30 – April 6 this year. The Shipes and Conrads will be with us for the day on either Sunday, and we will have a special missions prayer emphasis on Wednesday. We will be holding Missionary Cottage Meetings as well on Monday, March 31. If you would be interested in having one of these in your home – see Pastor Bruce or Bryan Lloyd.
