Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Bruce will share a message entitled “Is the Lord’s Hand Waxed Short?” during our Morning Worship, and Pastor Ron Whitehead will be with us for our Evening Service.

FFBC work

The Work Retreat at TSBC is scheduled for March 21-22. This is always a great time of fellowship and help in getting the grounds prepared for the camp season. The FFBC has also scheduled a Work Day at the church building in Hopewell on March 29 from 9-12. If you would be able to join in and help them clean out, please let us know.

TSBC events

We have just recently received the information for both the Ladies’ and Men’s Retreats at Tri-State Bible Camp and also the Teen, Junior, and Family Camps. Pick up a brochure, sign up on the bulletin board, and plan to have a spiritually refreshing time away at camp in the coming days.

Missions giving

As a result of a mission board meeting last week at HBC, we were able to raise our financial support level for 7 missionary families (the Beileses, Conrads, DeVernas, Fentons, Hydens, Markles, and Metzes) by $50 per month. We appreciate our partnership with them and are grateful how the Lord has provided for us to contribute a further part at these challenging times. Thank you for your faithful giving that allows us to support our 34 missionary endeavors.

Ministry Spotlight: Sunday School

Here at HBC, we have Sunday School classes for all ages from nursery to elementary to high school. Each of our youth classes has a Bible lesson and a time to interact, targeted for specific age groups. Instruction in God’s Word as applied to life in this world is critical for the next generation. We appreciate the many faithful teachers who join you in this endeavor. Let your kids arrive at 9:45 sharp for opening!

Sent to 199 addresses of the HBC family.

“Weekend Additions” is simply a means for sharing additional details & highlights of news & events at HBC.
