Youth events

The King’s Kids and Jr. High Teens will still meet tonight for their regular youth meetings. The Grand Prix Race Day has been postponed to Saturday, March 29.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Joe Roof will be our guest speaker for the day. He will share “Worthy Is the Lamb” during our Morning Worship and  “Watch and Pray” at the Evening Service.

Giving abroad

Many are aware that, for the next 3 months, we are designating the Sunday School offering to a softball outreach project with the Mandaranos in Ireland. These gifts will be used to outfit the team associated with the church there. We also gave a gift to the Conrads in Hong Kong for a special ministry project. Thank you for your faithful part in our missions giving around the world!

Ladies’ Retreat

We have a group heading up to the Ladies’ Retreat at TSBC. We are going the week of April 11-12 with Mae Dunkley. Come join in the fellowship! The theme for this year’s retreat is “Women of Courageous Faith.” Take a look at a brochure at church and register, or you can do so here. Sign up to go on the church van.

Upon recommendation

“It clearly elevated one religious faith (fundamentalist Christianity) over all others at an already virulently hyper-fundamentalist Christian institution . . . It massively poured fundamentalist Christian gasoline on an already raging out-of-control conflagration of fundamentalist Christian tyranny, exceptionalism and supremacy” as quoted by Todd Starnes when he speaks about how the “Air Force Academy Removes Bible Verse from Cadet’s Whiteboard.”
