Midnight & mid-morning

Note that the Jr. High Teens will have The Great Late Nighter tonight with various activities extended until 12 am. The Young Adult Fellowship Brunch will be tomorrow at 10 am. The pancake competition is on, and we will have some share testimonies. Come join us and let us know if you are coming if you haven’t yet.

Spring forward

Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend! That means that you need to turn your clocks ahead one hour. It is important to do so exactly when they tell us to at 2 am on Sunday, but don’t loose any sleep over it. We hope to see you on time for Sunday School at 9:45 am (EDT).

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Bruce will share a message entitled “Everyone Who Loves” during our Morning Worship, and Pastor Smith will share on the topic of “Church Discipline” at the Evening Service.

Ministry Spotlight: Nursing Home

At the last nursing home service held on February 23, there were 36 residents in attendance, which was the most they’ve had in recent memory. They were a very attentive and responsive group, who participated heartily in the service. Phil McKishen, Liberty Pagliarini, and Makayla Griffin supplied the music. The residents love the music, and they especially seem to love the young people. Be in prayer for these folks!

Upon recommendation

Did You Know Martyr Jim Elliot Had a Brother? This article by Jim Daly asks a good question that many haven’t thought of, though they’ve heard of more familiar stories in South America. Be challenged by the faithful life of Burt Elliot and the simple summary of his ministry and some recent attention given to it.
