Prix Karnival

The King’s Kids had a great time at the Grand Prix Race Day last week. There are some pictures on their bulletin board, and you will find the official results here. There’s tons of stuff in the church kitchen for the King’s Kids Karnival tomorrow – and more will come! Thanks for all those who are contributing. Kids, it looks like it will be fun.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Missionary Matthew Conrad will speak for both our Morning Worship and Evening Service. An ice cream social will wrap up our Annual Missions Conference. Praise the Lord for a good week!

Prayer mission

We are grateful to our missionaries for a great conference this year. If you missed it, you missed out! We have been challenged and encouraged to fellowship up close and/or in prayer with our missionary family. A different kind of prayer request – if you prayed for a specific family on Wednesday, perhaps you could drop them a line saying so? Send a note to to get their email address. Let’s keep the conversation going!

Easter Celebration Program

We would like to invite you to a special Easter Celebration Program at 6 PM  on Palm Sunday, April 13. The church choir and small ensembles will present sacred music and special readings about the glorious truth of the resurrection. Please join us as we lift our praise to Him who gave us His all! Invite a friend – you will find a handout in your bulletin on Sunday.

Missions Page

Did you know that the church website has detailed info on each one of our missionaries? A dedicated page includes current photos, biographical information, and field maps. Some also contain a link to a personal blog or to further information from their mission board. Much has been updated recently – take a look!

Missions Display

Our display of missionaries in the foyer has also been updated. There you will find basic information on each family, and most have a current prayer card. We also keep new prayer letters on the counter, along with some documents about our missionary policy, missions giving, and so on. Feel free to visit!

Sent to 202 addresses of the HBC family.

“Weekend Additions” is simply a means for sharing additional details & highlights of news & events at HBC.
