Three to Six

The Jr. & Sr. High Teens will leave for their Six Flags Trip tomorrow at 9 am. There are 3 tickets still available at $30 each. These are being opened up to the general church family – see Pastor Blaze if you are interested.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Smith will share a message entitled “Miracles of Calvary” during our Morning Worship. We will have a Youth Service for the evening, with different elements led by our 9th-12th grade teens. Pastor Blaze will preach on “Servants of Righteousness,” and we will observe the Lord’s Table.

Men’s Softball

We hope to field a team this year from HBC, hosting a few area churches and local businesses to play organized softball. Contact Pastor Bruce if you know of a group that would like to play us. Join our team and sign up at church – see Steve Menden Jr. or Greg Maynard for details. Our first practice will start at at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, May 20.

VBS need

The VBS staff is looking for large, flat pieces of corrugated cardboard  that could be obtained from large boxes or flat sheets that might have been used as packing material.  The pieces need to be at least 22″x17″ in size. Please cut them down to those measurements and not bring whole boxes if you would. See Michele Doran if you happen to come across such a thing!

HBC Work Day

We always have plenty of work to do around the church building. Come join us on Saturday, May 17 to put another dent in the list! Get right to it at 9 am with coffee and donuts or come later if you like for lunch at 12 pm. Or just come any time and whenever you can up through 4 pm. We need you . . . and bring the whole family! This will be inside and out, rain or shine. Come help, even if for a couple hours.

Sent to 202 addresses of the HBC family.

“Weekend Additions” is simply a means for sharing additional details & highlights of news & events at HBC.
