Reading and rendezvousing

See Liz Franklin if you are interested in the Ladies' Reading Rendezvous. They will meet at her house at 10:30 AM tomorrow to discuss their current book, Caught in the Web by Faith Cook. The next will be When God Weeps by Joni Earekson Tada. Let Liz know if you are coming or would like to join in.

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Saxton will share a message entitled "What a Great and Mighty God We Serve!" from Isaiah 40:12-31 at our Morning Worship and another called "Carnal Laziness Versus Christian Zeal" from Colossians 3:23-24 for the Evening Service. Also, Pastor Blaze and the teens who participated in the Collingswood Outreach will share a report on their week.

Delaware Bay fishing

The men in Canada continue on today and return late tomorrow. Perhaps the closer and shorter trip is better for you. The deadline to sign up and get your deposit to Ken Field for the bay fishing trip is on Sunday. This event is combined with Bethel Bible in Carneys Point. See the poster for more details and some other helpful suggestions!

Ministry Spotlight: Adult Choir

As a prelude to the new choir season, it is fitting to take a moment to note this key ministry and direct thanks to those who orchestrate in such harmony. They each have a major measure of sacrifice as they meet weekly at 4:45 sharp to learn new music for the Sunday morning services. They also present various sacred music events at different times over the year. There are some empty blue chairs – let us know if this is your forte!

Benevolent Fund

We will receive a special offering for the benevolent fund at GCCS on Sunday. These monies are given when various needs of families at the school arise. Make checks payable to Hardingville Bible Church and place yours either 1) in an envelope marked for GCCS benevolence or 2) in the offering plate during the PM service. Leave the memo line blank – checks which have the word "tithe" will be directed to the HBC general fund.

Sent to 204 addresses of the HBC family.

"Weekend Additions" is simply a means for sharing additional details & highlights of news & events at HBC.
