Fall for Family

You won’t want to miss the Fall Family Festival tomorrow! Bring your own family; join your church family; invite some other families. Dinner starts right at 1 PM – just bring a side or dessert to share. After some fellowship in song and around the Word, we will have a number of outside activities available. Come ready for your annual portrait, join some games, hop on the hayride, or jump in the moon bounce or down the slide. It’s sure to be a fun day!

Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Saxton will share a message entitled “God’s Secure Love for His People” from Romans 8:28-38 at our Morning Worship and another called “What Is Christian Hospitality?” from Hebrews 13:2 for the Evening Service. Both the adult and King’s Kids choirs will sing in the AM.

Annual ACCC

Pastor Saxton will be attending the 73rd Convention of the American Council of Christian Churches for part of this next week, October 21-23. The meetings will be at the Bible Presbyterian Church in Appollo, PA near Pittsburgh. He will be a speaker for one of the sessions on Thursday. Be in prayer for safe travel and good meetings. Go to to find out more about the ACCC or see a brochure with a schedule and more details.

Boyces in NH

Since 2010, HBC has supported a church planting effort in New Hampshire in association with the FFBC. Just recently, Dan Boyce informed us that the Victory Baptist Church voted to dissolve on October 5 as a result of some extreme difficulties. Let’s pray for Dan and Sandy as they have joined another church nearby and are waiting upon the Lord to direct them into a future ministry.
