Time is falling

Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 am on Sunday. Since you probably won’t be aware then, be sure to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday night! Remember that every moment of time matters (Ephesians 5:16). If you’re successful, we’ll see you at 9:45 sharp (EST) on the Lord’s Day.

Looking ahead

On Reformation Sunday, Pastor Saxton will share a message entitled “Seven Ways God Uses Believers’ Trials for Their Good” from Romans 8:28 at our Morning Worship and another called “Evangelism – Your Message to the World” for the Evening Service

Fall for Family

Fall fotos available

“We had a great time on October 18 at the Fall Family Festival, the annual picnic sponsored by our Sunday School. Closet clean

There is quite a lot of “stuff” laid out in Harmony Hall that is open for the taking! Most of the items have accumulated in a few of the many storage areas at HBC, and we simply no longer have need. Following next Wednesday, we will be looking to otherwise recycle or dispose of them. Please, help yourself!

Reformation Day

God’s people should rejoice today, on this anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. This was a time when entire countries began to see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ’s grace. Let us remember the power and importance of His timeless and unchanging Word!

Upon recommendation

Today is more commonly known for a not so good, biblical, Christian reason. If you’re still not so sure about your participation, Christians and Halloween by Travis Allen may add some helpful clarity. May every man be convinced in his own mind, to the glory of God and the good of the Gospel!
