Looking ahead

On Sunday, Pastor Saxton will share a message entitled “Four Ways God Uses the Sins of Others against a Believer for Good” from Romans 8:28 at our Morning Worship. Pastor Andy Merkle will preach for our Evening Service.

Thanksgiving Dinner 2014

We would like to personally invite you and your family to attend our Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday, November 22, at 6 PM. The church will provide the items listed below. Just bring a covered dish or dessert to share. Pastor Bruce Dare will be our speaker and challenge us from the Word. We hope for it to be a wonderful time of fellowship with your entire family at HBC! Join and share with us!

Please sign up if you would like to cook one of the items for the above dinner. We need twelve volunteers total! Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, pork loin – all provided by the church. See the sign-up sheet across from the Church Office, and contact Martha Walsh with any questions.

GOITRC future

We’ve established contact with the board of Gospel Outreach International to Roman Catholics

and learned that the ministry will, in fact and in time, dissolve. Frank Eberhardt was quite central to this effort. The Mission Board sent a $500 love gift to the family in his memory and on behalf of the church. GOITRC is seeking to make Frank’s books and other printed materials available on an ongoing basis – let us know if you might be interested. Please keep them all in your prayers.

King’s Kids prizes

We are still looking for new toys and prizes for the King’s Kids Royal Store – for all ages but especially 4th-6th grades. See Cindi Fearon or Pete Field if you are interested in donating something or somehow contributing!

Sent to 204 addresses of the HBC family.

“Weekend Additions” is simply a means for sharing additional details & highlights of news & events at HBC.
